Heirloom tomatoes (sometimes with odd shapes) give us an abundant choice of flavors. Some are sweet such as the Cherokee Purple and others are tart such as the Green Zebra while others like the Yellow Brandywine and Gold have less acidity for those who enjoy tomatoes but cannot have the acidity.
Our traditional red tomatoes are firm but have a melt in your mouth texture and excellent flavor.
Our varieties of cherry tomatoes each has a distinct flavor. We have red, yellow and purple.
Our Bibb Lettuce is soft with a mellow flavor. When kept in a clamshell or in a storage bag and leaves removed as needed will last 3 to 4 weeks in the refrigerator.
Our watercress is a wonderful addition to salads and sandwiches or just by itself. It does not trail like the traditional outdoor cress but has the same peppery (spicy) flavor. It can also keep for 3 to 4 weeks as long as the leaves are kept dry.
The basil is very aromatic and flavorful, perfect for pesto or a salad made with basil, feta and mozzarella cheese.
Cilantro adds so much to salsa and asian cooking.
Arugula and Dandelion Greens have a somewhat bitter but distinct flavor.
We grow red and green veined domesticated dandelion greens.
